Peter was in the first ever “crash test dummy” class in “the summer of ’69” and after years of study and practical tests, Peter finally gained his licence as a qualified “dummy” in 2014. He will drive/ride anything with a motor and has ‘had a little accident’ in all sorts of motorised vehicles, with the fault always being someone else’s. He’s raced the rock and rolling fender benders and other vehicles at Parramatta Speedway and is well travelled, having used the toilets at many speedways across the country. Having raced dirt bikes and dirt go karts as well, his motto is “dirt is for racing – bitumen is for getting there”. He thinks that is why people call him a dirty old man.
